XXIX. Medzinárodného festivalu horských filmov Poprad
29^th International Festival of the Mountain Films, Poprad

Porota v zložení: Boris Hlaváček (Česká republika), Martin Kaňuch (Slovenská republika), Dariusz Zaƚuski (Poľsko) si od 13. do 15. októbra 2021 prezrela 44 súťažných filmov zo 17 krajín sveta. Porota rozhodla, že spomedzi súťažných filmov si ocenenie zaslúžia nasledujúce filmy:

The International Jury, composed of Boris Hlaváček (Czech Republic), Martin Kaňuch (Slovak Republic) and Dariusz Zaƚuski (Poland) evaluated 44 competitive films from 17 countries between 13^th and 15^th October 2021. The Jury decided to award the below listed films:

Za umenie režiséra preniknúť do vnútra mimoriadnej osobnosti, ktorému extrémne situácie v horách ovplyvnili ďalší život / for the Director’s artful skill of uncovering the extraordinary personality of one, whose extreme mountain experiences, influenced his life going forward.

Za citlivé nahliadnutie do života človeka, ktorému šport pomáha prekonávať tie najťažšie životné výzvy / in appreciation for the account of how the sport, helped one man overcome life’s toughest challenges.

Za vizuálne pôsobivé a archívne pestré predstavenie histórie horských vodcov a horolezectva vo Franzúzskych Alpách / for the historically very rich visual presentation of mountaineering and guides of the French Alps.

Stena tieňov/ The Wall of Shadows

Réžia / Director: Eliza Kubarska Poľsko / Poland 2020

Za príbeh, v ktorom sa na pozadí jednej expedície v Nepále stretáva svet domácich šerpov, sprievodcov a ich rodín, so svetom horolezcov, ich plánov výstupov i predstáv o úspešných expedíciách / for a tale of two worlds in Nepal – one the local Sherpas, guides and their families and the other the mountaineers, their climbing plans and visions for successful expeditions.
