XXVIII. Medzinárodného festivalu horských filmov Poprad
28^th International Festival of the Mountain Films, Poprad

 

Porota v zložení Mária Dutková (Slovenská republika), Jerzy Porębski (Poľsko), Steve Lichtag (Česká republika) si od 14. do 17. októbra 2020 prezrela 45 súťažných filmov zo 15 krajín sveta. Porota rozhodla, že spomedzi súťažných filmov si ocenenie zaslúžia nasledujúce filmy:

The International Jury, composed of Maria Dutkova (Slovak Republic), Jerzy Porębski (Poland)  and Steve Lichtag (Czech Republic) evaluated 45 competitive films from 15 countries             between 14^th and 17^th October 2020. The Jury decided to award the below listed films:

 

GRAND PRIX

Everest – najťažšia cesta  /   Everest – The Hard Way

Réžia / Director:  Pavol Barabáš                                                         Slovensko / Slovakia,  2020

Za dokonalé dramatické uchopenie príbehu prelezenia najťažšej cesty na Evereste štvoricou špičkových slovenských horolezcov. Najväčšia tragédia v dejinách slovenského horolezectva je zobrazená cez emócie vedúceho expedície. Talent režiséra umožnil citlivým spôsobom poukázať jej príbeh a následky.
For a perfect dramatic grasp of the story of climbing the most difficult route on Everest by four top Slovak climbers. The greatest tragedy in the history of Slovak moutaineering is depicted through the emotions of the expedition leader. The film director´s talent made it possible to point out the story and its consequences in a sensitive way.
